EU Commission Vice-President Schinas Briefs EUCO President on His Visit to Lesbos

BRUSSELS — European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas met the President of the European Council Charles Michel on Monday and briefed him on his recent trip to the island of Lesvos, discussing the EU's New Pact on Migration and Asylum.

In a tweet, Schinas said "Glad to have been able to meet Charles Michel (on the notorious deal-making terrace…) to debrief him on my trip to #Lesvos and discuss the New Pact on Migration and Asylum as well as other portfolio issues. Time to rally around a common MigrationEU policy".
