Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
ATHENS — A resolution of protest against the ban on rallies was handed over to the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the President of Parliament Konstantinos Tasoulas and State Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis on Monday by a delegation from main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, and opposition Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and MERA25 parties.
The delegation of the three opposition parties visited the parliament president and expressed its strong protest against the government's decision to ban rallies for four days, including the November 17 anniversary.
Afterwards, the delegation, represented by Olga Gerovasili (SYRIZA), Thanasis Pafilis (KKE), Sofia Sakorafa and Kleonas Georgiadis (MERA25), met at the Maximos Palace with the Minister of State.
Now they are visiting the President of the Republic, after which they will make statements to the press.
