Panagiotopoulos: The United States Is Greece’s Key Strategic Partner

ATHENS — "The United States of America is and will be a key strategic partner of Greece. The mutual defense cooperation agreement reflects exactly this relationship, which has been constantly upgraded over the last years," Minister of National Defense, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, said on Saturday in an interview with newspaper "Ta Nea".

He noted that "in a few days Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will go to Washington to sign the revised agreement, while at the same time the strategic dialogue between the two sides will take place."
