Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou spoke separately on Wednesday with Archbishop Hieronymos of Athens and All Greece and with Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durres and All Albania, and thanked them for the support they provide to the faithful during the difficult times of the coronavirus pandemic.
Sakellaropoulou particularly noted the inspiring and guiding role of the church, and wished both church leaders happy Easter.
The archbishops called for hope and faith, and expressed the certainty that the rallying of human solidarity will overcome the pandemic and its repercussions.
