TROY, NY – Members of the Trojan AHEPA Chapter 306 held their year-end celebration, the annual Christmas Dinner, on December 13 at Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse in Albany.
The chapter members had a lot to be proud of having raised close to $15,000 and spent $11,500 of it on philanthropic donations and four scholarships to local Troy community college-attending students.
Donation recipients included the Regional Food Bank (chapter members also volunteered there twice this year); Senior Veterans in the needy Rensselaer County Social Services Christmas Program; the Children’s Christmas Pageant at Saint Basil; Wreaths Across America; Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club; Saint Basil Altar Boys; the Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center and others. The chapter also awarded the Troy Ahepan of the Year to Paul Semon.
The officers and members of the Trojan AHEPA Chapter look forward to a successful and prosperous 2023!
