Greek Foreign Chief Plans Australia Visit for Greek Independence Day

Unless Greek elections interfere – a spring date hasn’t been set yet – Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias expects to be in Australia for the March 25th celebration of Greek independence, after he goes to Latin America.

Dendias has been on a whirlwind campaign of visiting countries, including in Africa, the Balkans, Europe, and the Middle East, including Lebanon on Israel as Greece tries to expand its foreign policy.

The itinerary hasn’t been announced by the Australian newspaper Neos Kosmos said that he will almost certainly have meetings with government and opposition officials as well as in the Greek-Australian community during his visit there.
