Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Four new private public partnerships (PPP) worth 527 million euros were approved by the relevant Greek committee meeting chaired by Alternate Development & Investments Minister Nikos Papathanassis on Thursday.
Two include drainage and irrigation projects (Almopeos River, Central Macedonia; the Iperia-Orfana network in Larissa and Karditsa, respectively, in central Greece), one is the entire refurbishment of the old student dormitory in the campus of the National Technical University of Athens (the Polytechnic) campus in Zografos, Athens; and the fourth one relates to the upgrade and conservation of three sections of the Northern Greece Railroad Network.
