UPPER DARBY, PA – In a festive atmosphere, the St. Demetrios Greek School in Upper Darby on December 11 celebrated its annual Breakfast with Santa. Every year the school celebration draws over 350 people. The Greek School students perform traditional Christmas carols together with their teachers and decorate Gingerbread Houses. Attendees enjoyed a breakfast buffet with fantastic dishes. The celebration would, of course, not be complete without the presence of Santa Claus who took pictures with all the children. The St. Demetrios community and the parent-teacher association wish everyone all the best for a happy holiday season.

St. Demetrios Greek Language School is the only school in the Greater Philadelphia area that prepares students for the Ellinomatheia examinations as part of its standard Academic program. Their goal is to expand the program and become the first Ellinomatheia Center in the Greater Philadelphia area.
