European Union Foreign policy Chief Mogherini: Think of Failure’s Costs

Federica Mogherini, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, asked participants in the peace process “to think of the cost of not reaching a solution to the Cyprus issue, speaking to the press after a meeting with the Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides, in Nicosia,” according to CNA

She spoke about the talks during  a visit to Cyprus  during a trip intended as outreach to a EU member states.

CNA reported that “The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission and the Cypriot Foreign Minister had a tete-a-tete meeting, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by official talks, statements to the Press and a working lunch.”
