Italy-Greece RestArt Project; Online Video Art festival

ATHENS – The Eye's Walk Digital Festival from Greece (based in Syros) and the Bari Bibart Biennale Internazionale d'arte International Art Biennale bring together inspiration and strength for the 1st online festival of digital arts & performances entitled "Italy-Greece RestArt Project."

"We believe in the digital arts and poetry, which can contribute to our lives. So we created the opportunity to connect with their viewer, on a daily basis. Poetry and experimentation characterise Video Art, along with its revolutionary opening to wider groups of artists. "Yes", the presence of women artists is very large, pioneering and catalytic. "Yes" artists from LGBTQI + groups are present. "Video Art is affordable, it is a relatively new art, and without the identity of a successful 'male model' successful artist, it becomes a free field for experimentation and expression," said the organisers, stressing that "Pandemia cannot stop Art."

Digital screenings will run from May 9 to September 12 on Bibart Biennale Internazionale d'arte's Web TV and YouTube channels.

Curators are Miguel Gomez and Filia Milidaki. Entries are accepted until May 7. Submission of projects to [email protected]
