Greek Police Praise Citizens’ Responsible Stance on Friday

ATHENS – Greek police sources expressed on Friday their satisfaction of the responsible stance of the citizens on Friday regarding the restriction measures against the spread of the coronavirus, speaking to Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

"It is very important the fact that the people are showing responsibility and follows the instructions against the spread of the coronavirus" said the same sources and expressed their optimism that the Greeks will hold the same stance throughout the weekend, the last one before the gradual lifting of the measures on May 4.

On the rallies held in Athens, police said that most of the gathered people wore face masks and kept the safety distance.
