Zelenskyy: All the Sanctions against Russia Must Be Fully Adopted

ATHENS – “All the sanctions against Russia must be adopted 100 percent, without exceptions, and they must continue because if we do not stop it here, Russia will not stop at Ukraine but continue with this policy,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday, in an online address to the Economist Conference.

Diplomatic or any other pressure, 24 hours a day, may force Russia to truly seek peace and everyone should hope that peace prevails, he added.

Regarding the current situation in Ukraine, Zelenskyy said that “we are trying to strengthen our army to be able to defend our country. We hope for an increase in assistance to my country in other sectors also”.

Zelenskyy noted that Russia’s war against Ukraine affects everyone because we are all νunlerable to a nuclear disaster, adding that Russia is opportunistically using its power to attack democracy.
