SYRIZA Leader Kasselakis: We Will Be First in the Euroelections

Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Stefanos Kasselakis expressed his certainty that his party will be first in the European elections in an interview with ALPHA TV on Thursday evening.

“We do not know if we are now at 17 percentage points (in the elections), there are polls that give us this or even higher numbers and this is something that the government is aware of. It is feasible and possible to be the first party and this is the target not only for us but also for the society. Our ideological impact is clear. The most important for us is to be authentic and consistent”, Kasselakis said.

Asked on his political ambitions, he said that his wish is “two 4-year terms in order to implement a major reforms program, to unite Greece, the decentralise and resolve the demographic problem. I will not be politician for the rest of my life, I believe in change. I do not belong to those that believe that they were born for politics, to govern, I want to be useful and to change the political landscape,” he said.
