US Congress Delegation Meets with Health Ministers in Athens

ATHENS – A visiting US Congress delegation led by Representative Frank Pallone Jr paid a visit to the Greek Health Ministry on Tuesday and discussed the management of the pandemic in Greece and the United States.

With Health Minister Thanos Plevris and Alternate Minister Mina Gaga they also discussed challenges in the post-pandemic era and how to support health systems.

The meeting was also attended by US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, the head of the National Public Health Organization, and secretaries general of the Health Ministry.
