The Evzones Visit St. Thomas Community In Cherry Hill, NJ

CHERRY HILL, NJ – The Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley invited everyone to meet and take a photo with the Evzones, members of the Hellenic Presidential Guard, at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill, NJ, on March 30.

The event, open to all communities, took place in the Danielle Kousoulis Greek Cultural Center at St. Thomas Church. Greek school students from every school in the area were encouraged to attend. During the event, 6th grade students of the St. Thomas Hellenic School presented  a brief history of the Evzones and the various costumes that they wear in the course of their service.
