Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – A 47-year-old Swedish man was found dead at the bottom of a ventilation shaft in an apartment building in Exarchia on Sunday.
According to the Hellenic Police, the 47-year-old had been declared missing by his family in Sweden and had fallen from the 6th floor of the apartment building at 65 Lambrou Katsoni Street.
The Exarchia police station is carrying out an investigation into the circumstances of his death but have ruled out the possibility of criminal action.
