Suspected Coronavirus Case from Quarantined Greek Village Admitted to Hospital

THESSALONIKI – Τhe first admission to hospital of a suspected coronavirus case from the village of Damaskinia in Kozani, which has been quarantined since Monday, was decided on Tuesday.

The suspected case concerns a 74-year-old who presented with flu-like symptoms on Monday. As the symptoms did not subside, doctors judged that the man should be admitted to Ptolemaida hospital for further testing.

On Tuesday, two more suspected coronavirus case were sent to Kozani state hospital on Tuesday, one from Tranovalto and another from a private clinic in Kozani.
