Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
CHERRY HILL, NJ – The St. Thomas Hellenic Afternoon School in Cherry Hill, NJ, on May 6, celebrated the accomplishments of the Greek language school graduates. The St. Thomas Hellenic Afternoon School has provided a space for students to immerse themselves in the Greek language, culture, and heritage. The teachers have guided the students with dedication and passion, nurturing their love for the language and instilling them with pride for their Greek identity. Throughout their academic career, they have not only learned the language but also delved into the rich history and traditions of Greece. The goal is that as these graduates move on to the next chapter of their lives, they will carry the knowledge, experiences and friendships gained within the school walls and continue to celebrate, promote, and preserve the Greek language and culture.
The valedictorian this year is Andreas Stambilopoulos. The AHEPA 1st award went to Angelina Mpeka and 2nd to Leon Ntosimo.
