GREENLAWN, NY – Shrine AHEPA Chapter 500 wishes to extend a warm holiday cheer to all members of AHEPA. Chapter President Edwin Rivera and his AHEPA brothers closed out the year by hosting a Toys for Tots fundraiser. The event took place on December 8, at Bowlero, located in Melville, NY.
There were over 20 participants enjoying the festivities. There was plenty of finger foods and drinks to keep the bowlers energized for their next game. In the spirit of giving, the chapter asked all participants to donate one unwrapped gift. The gifts will be taken to Saint Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Shrine Church in Greenlawn, NY and will be distributed to families who are struggling economically this holiday season.
Chapter President Edwin Rivera stated: “Here’s to a bright New Year and a fond farewell to the old; here’s to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold. May the New Year bless you with health, wealth, and happiness.”
