Sailing Boat with 8 Passengers Adrift Between Syros and Kythnos

ATHENS – A sailing boat with eight passengers on board is floating adrift due to engine failure in the sea between the islands of Syros and Kythnos. Three US nationals, two Swiss nationals and three Greeks are on the boat. Two vessels are sailing near the sailing boat, while a tug boat is heading to its location to offer assistance. Wind speeds in the area are up to 6-7 on the Beaufort scale.
