Problems with the Power Supply Due to Fires in Attica

ATHENS – Problems with the power supply occurred in areas where fires were burning in Attica, where medium voltage power lines supplying parts of Pallini and Penteli were down, according to the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A.

HEDNO said its technicians were on standby and would carry out an inspection of the network as soon as the fire brigade permitted access to these areas.

No problems were reported with the high-voltage power network.
