Peloni Slams Tsipras as “Most Divisive Politician of the Post-Junta Era”

ATHENS — Government spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni attacked main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras on Tuesday, responding to his speech in Thessaloniki, and called him the "most divisive politician of the post-junta period."

"With his speech in Thessaloniki, Mr. Tsipras simply reminded us of who he truly is: divisive and toxic, he reproduces the filth from the orchestrators of the underground attacks," Peloni said.

"It is inconceivable for a main opposition leader to accuse the government of tolerating and abetting crimes of child molestation, rape and abuse," she said, while adding that "This is who he was and who he is: the most divisive politician of the post-junta period".
