ATHENS – Yet another man, aged 54, voluntarily came in for questioning regarding the case involving the 12-year-old victim of rape and sexual exploitation from Kolonos.

The man, who was identified, turned himself in to the Attica General Police Headquarters on Monday afternoon as part of the ongoing investigation to identify internet users that spoke with the 12-year-old via an internet dating app and may have subsequently met with her.

He reported that he had spoken with someone who might be the girl, who was the victim of a prostitution ring, in the spring of 2022.

The 54-year-old was released after being examined under oath and his participation in the case is being investigated.
