Mitsotakis Met with Biden, Macron, Johnson in Good Climate

MADRID – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with U.S. President Joe Biden and other foreign leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, during a dinner hosted by King Felipe IV of Spain at the NATO Summit.

The talks took place in an excellent climate, according to government sources.

The discussion with the U.S. President focused on Mitsotakis’ visit to the United States, with the two leaders expressing satisfaction with the success of the prime minister’s recent visit to Washington and the excellent level of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The prime minister also met with his British counterpart Boris Johnson, with whom he will have a bilateral meeting on Wednesday, with the prime ministers of Australia and New Zealand. The prime minister of Australia also invited him to visit Australia.

Mitsotakis also had a short discussion with the French President Emmanuel Macron on the issues of the NATO Summit agenda.

The Greek prime minister had a private meetings with his Japanese counterpart, during which they expressed their interest in further improving mainly the economic relations between the two countries.
