Mitsotakis Meets with President Anastasiades in Nicosia

NICOSIA – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit Cyprus on Friday and meet with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades at 11:00. The two leaders’ meeting is taking place ahead of the EU Summit to be held in Brussels on 23 and 24 June.

Mitsotakis and Anastasiades will discuss, in the context of Athens-Nicosia coordination, the Cyprus issue, the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and Turkish provocativeness. Additionally, they will talk about the DISY (Democratic Rally) party’s elections, where Mitsotakis is to deliver a speech.

Later, Mitsotakis is to attend a dinner hosted by DISY President Averof Neofytou in his honour and then meet with the Occupied Municipalities and Communities Committee.
