Mitsotakis Congratulates Romania’s PM Ciucă on His Election

ATHENS – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke on the phone on Wednesday with Romania’s new Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă.

Mitsotakis congratulated Ciucă on his election and expressed the readiness of the Greek side for further expansion and deepening of bilateral relations.

According to government sources, the two prime ministers agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation on European issues in order to address common challenges and exchange views on regional and international developments.

Ciucă extended an invitation to Mitsotakis to visit Romania, which the Greek prime minister accepted. The two leaders also had the opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen mutually beneficial economic relations by intensifying cooperation.
