Metropolitan Methodios Welcomes Goyans From Chicago to the Metropolis of Boston

BOSTON – On Friday, March 1, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios welcomed a group of 20 Goyans and their parish priest, Fr. Sotirios Malamis, from the Holy Ascension of Our Lord Church in Lincolnshire, IL. The Chicago youth group is visiting the Metropolis of Boston and Hellenic College Holy Cross for four days.

Metropolitan Methodios, the Chancellor, Fr. Ted Barbas, and Panos Coufos, the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, warmly welcomed our Chicago guests to the Metropolis for a tour and discussion on the many youth and young adult ministries offered throughout New England, including the Metropolis of Boston Camp (MBC), to which an invitation was extended for the Chicago youth to join this coming summer.

Metropolitan Methodios expressed his joy and appreciation for their visit and asked the group to extend his warm embrace to Metropolitan Nathaniel of Chicago. Following their visit to the Metropolis, our Chicago guests were hosted to dinner and fellowship with the youth group of St. Nectarios Church of Roslindale.
