Looks like Meráki Greek Grill has the right recipe to keep people in Las Vegas and the area keep coming for Greek specialties, so much so that the chain opened a fifth spot, in the suburb of Henderson.
The first Meráki Greek Grill opened in 2017 and has been among Las Vegas’s top restaurants in recent Yelp rankings, noted MSN.
“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support we have received from the community, and it only feels right to share our interpretation of Greek and Mediterranean dining experiences across all of Las Vegas,” Joseph Djavairian, a franchise partner for Meráki, said in a news release.
The Las Vegas Journal Review noted the Greek and Armenian team behind the franchise includes founder Girair ‘Jerry’ Goumroian, Executive Chef and partner Nikos Georgousis, and partner George Djavairian.
It happened fast over six years, with a second spot opening in 2021 as the COVID-19 pandemic lessened and restaurants began opening, followed by two other openings in 2022. What’s the secret? It’s those lamb chops and kalamakia meat skewers and a Meráki steak burger with feta, arugula and tzatzki on brioche.
