BRUSSELS – Greek Defence Minister Evangelos Apostolakis had a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on Wednesday, on the sidelines of a NATO Ministerial Meeting.

The meeting follows that between Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara last week, and is held in an effort to reduce the tension in the Aegean and to promote mutual trust.
