Man Found Dead after Crash in Greek Church Parking Lot in PA

MCCANDLESS, PA – Police are investigating a fatal car crash in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in McCandless, WPXI 11 News reported on December 4.

The black “SUV managed to travel across a major North Hills road and crash into the parking lot… killing a man inside,” WPXI 11 News reported, adding that “tire tracks can be seen in the snow on the lawn at the corner of Cumberland Road and Babcock Boulevard.”

WPXI’s Liz Kilmer posted on Twitter an image of the damaged car in the parking lot and commented, “Look to the left and you can see tracks on a hill all the way across from the church.”

The man, who was not identified at press time, was the only person in the car, WPXI 11 News reported.
