M. Schinas: EU Ready to Support Greece at All Levels

BRUSSELS –The European Commission is ready to support Greece at all levels, EU Vice President and Commissioner for Promoting European Way of Life Margaritis Schinas said on Wednesday speaking on the phone with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the fire in Moria.

"I just spoke with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the issue of the fire at Moria. I reassured him that the European Commisssion is ready to immediately assist Greece at all levels in these difficult times. EU Commissioner Ylva Johansson is in contact with all the responsible ministers," said Schinas in a post on his twitter account.
