Letter to the Editor: There is a Need for Pan-Orthodox Unity

To the Editor:

Why is it that so few voices are being raised against the ongoing controversy over the future status of the Ukrainian Church? Unless the present trend is reversed, the controversy will certainly lead to a major schism between the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Church of Russia, impacting on all Orthodoxy.
Hopefully, that will not happen. There is still time to resolve the issue through dialogue and understanding. Pan-Orthodox unity needs to be maintained.
