Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ASTORIA – The Kindergarten graduation ceremony at St. Demetrios Astoria was held in the community’s Petros Patrides Cultural Center on June 14. A total of 41 children, all wearing white graduation caps, graduated.
Family and friends attended the festive ceremony as well as the Dean of St. Demetrios Cathedral Archimandrite Nektarios Papazafiropoulos, Principal of the School Anastasios Koularmanis, Vice Principal Betsy Sideris, and Chairman of the School Board Nick Andriotis.
