ATHENS — The first priority will be approving funding for hurricane-affected local governments once he returns to office on Monday, recovering Interior Minister Takis Theodorikakos said on Sunday.
Theodorikakos was ordered home for a few days for health reasons unrelated to the novel coronavirus.
In a tweet, he said, "Happy Sunday. A big Thank You for your love and support in the health issue I faced. In office as of tomorrow & my first task is to send immediate economic & comprehensive actual support from the ministry to municipalities and regions struck by the hurricane."
