Greek Army Chief Meets with Israeli Defence Firms in Cyber Sector

ATHENS – The chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, had a meeting with representatives of Israeli defence firms to discuss issues of mutual interest, according to an announcement on Thursday.

General Floros met General Eli Ben-Meir, the Vice President of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd and head of its Cyber Intelligence Directorate (CSI, the Air and C4ISR Systems Division), the president and CEO of Aeronautics Group, Mosche Elazar and the company’s Chief Marketing Officers and VP for Sales and Planning Matan Perry, as well as its Senior Management and VP for Cooperate Business Development Adi Cohen.

During the meeting on Wednesday, the emphasis was on new developments in intelligence, cyber defence and security and their effect on information operations, as well as the role, capabilities and advantages provided by UAVs in the modern and future environment and the execution of interbranch operations.
