Gennimata Accuses Government That “Greeks Feel More and More Insecure”

ATHENS — Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata lashed out at Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chryssochoidis on Tuesday following the recent crime incidents and the government decision to set up university protection teams.

"At a time when crime is on the rise and citizens are watching the barrage of murders by organized criminal organisations on the streets of Athens, the prime minister is prioritizing the policing of universities," she said in a statement.

"Citizens feel more and more insecure," Gennimata underlined.
