Fragogiannis: Greece Continues to Support European Values

December 11, 2020

ATHENS — Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Kostas Fragogiannis, in an interview with CNBC, said that Greece has always supported "one cohesive, integrated, fully-fledged programme" for all the European Union and will never put at risk either European values and laws nor its own laws and security, as well as that of its friends and allies.

Speaking on Thursday, Fragogiannis discussed the measures taken by the government to support economic growth and recovery after the pandemic and stressed the important investment opportunities offered by Greece.

The deputy foreign minister highlighted the complete economic restructuring carried out by the Greek government over the last 18 months, with many reforms in the public sector, both in terms of competitiveness, fast track procedures and taxation, as well as in terms of green growth, making it a promising and safe investment destination in Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean.
