ATHENS — Russia was and remains an important country for the attraction of quality and high added value investments in the sectors of real estate and tourism, stated the managing director of Enterprise Greece Giorgos Filiopoulos at the first investment webinar organised by Enterprise Greece, the Greek Embassy in Moscow and the Hellenic-Russian Chamber of Commerce (HRCC).

The target of the webinar is to present to Russian companies investment proposals in the fields of tourism and real estate, in which Greece offers comparative advantages.

During the webinar, speakers explained the reasons that make Greece an attractive investment destination and also presented a package of measures and the initiatives taken by the Greek government to support enterpreneurship in the midst of the pandemic.

Filiopoulos, in a statement, pointed out that constant promotion of the country's investment proposal in important sectors, such as real estate and tourism, is of high importance, especially during the current time when Greece is facing the challenges of the repercussions from the pandemic. "Our organisation, via targeted actions, aims at the further extension of this dynamic. Russia was and continues to be an important target-country for the attraction of quality and high added value investments in those two sectors".
