Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantinos Vlassis will visit Istanbul on Saturday and Sunday, March 20-21. On Saturday, Vlassis will attend the enthronement of the Metropolitan of Chalkidona, Emmanuel, according to a foreign ministry announcement.
On Sunday, the Sunday of Orthodoxy, Vlassis will attend the service at the Holy Church of St. George in Phanar, led by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
Additionally, Vlassis will visit the Theological school of Chalki and the orphanage of Prinkipos and will meet Greeks living in Istanbul and Greek educational entities of the Greek minority.
