Christodoulides, Dendias Discuss Issues of Bilateral and Regional Cooperation

ATHENS — Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met with the Foreign Minister of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides on Friday.

The two ministers discussed issues of bilateral and regional cooperation, and the continued close coordination between Greece and Cyprus in view of Cyprus issue developments, and in the Eastern Mediterranean, the foreign ministry tweeted on Friday,

"Following yesterday’s #PhiliaForum, FM @NikosDendias & #Cyprus FM @Christodulides met today at @GreeceMFA to discuss issues of bilateral and regional cooperation, as well as the continued close  coordination in view of dvpts in Cyprus issue & #EasternMediterranean.

Yesterday, the Foreign Ministers of Greece, Cyprus and Egypt held a meeting on Thursday on the sidelines of the one-day "Philia Forum" (Friendship Forum) of European and Arab foreign ministers in Athens.

Foreign Ministers Nikos Dendias, Cyprus' Nikos Christodoulides and Egypt's Sameh Shoukry discussed current developments in the broader region and opportunities for greater collaboration.
