ATHENS — British American Tobacco Hellas plans significant investments and the creation of 200 new job positions in Greece, Vitali Kochenko, chairman and CEO of the company said during an Economist conference.
Addressing the conference, Kochenko said BAT’s goal is toe create, through its business activity, a better future for adult consumers, for the society and its workers. The group’s vision incorporated in the decision to raise investments in Greece, a decision which has already started. BAT has an accumulated contribution of more than 3.0 billion euros in taxes in the last few years in Greece and has invested significantly in the country. Greece is regrional center covering Israel, Cyprus and Malta.
