ATHENS – The labour ministry amendment accelerating the procedures for setting the minimum wage for 2023 – so that increases to the basic wage come into force from April 1, 2023 – was tabled on Tuesday in parliament.

Under the amendment, Labour Minister Kostis Hatzidakis is to present his proposal to the Cabinet regarding the minimum wage of employees and labourers by March 10, 2023.
