ATHENS – Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos called the government’s measures against the price hike “a hole in the water”.

He claimed that the measures announced do not give an answer to the problem but confirms a series of government’s lies.

Iliopoulos said that there is “another way” noting that “Mitsotakis (Kyriakos, Prime Minister) should be together with the Portuguese and the Spanish Prime Ministers at the crucial EU Summit on the price hike, who gained the decoupling of electricity prices from natural gas for households”.
