Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
To the Editor:
Your unswerving and constructively crafted editorial in essence beseeching our beloved Greece to strive for its greater glory in handling the immense challenge of dealing with the refugee crises that has beset it, in a humane fashion, was journalism in its best form. The adage that to have the fortitude and integrity to offer criticism even to another who is an ally, is a manifestation of true love, applies to your exhorting Greece to do better, rather than offering blind-eyed, subjective, parochial, unqualified, and unconditional support. Such can only serve Greece well, as it attempts to navigate this minefield of challenges.
Your objective leadership should be a beacon of principles for Greece and its leadership.
