Former Greek President Pavlopoulos in Hospital after Testing Positive for Covid-19

ATHENS – Former Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos was admitted to hospital ‘Alexandra’ on Saturday after testing positive for Covid-19 on Friday.

The hospital announced that he was admitted at 11:10 am “for preventative reasons.”

Pavlopoulos, it said, “is vaccinated, does not exhibit symptoms, the state of his health is very good and it was decided (by his personal doctor) to admit him to a hospital for a few days’ observation due to his individual history as a patient of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).”
