Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Tuesday expressed her solidarity with the international sports family during this difficult time due to the pandemic, in her meeting with the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach at the Presidential Mansion.
Sakellaropoulou also congratulated Bach on his re-election and wished him every success in his mission ahead of the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
On his part, Bach thanked Sakellaropoulou and reassured her that the Olympic Games will be held in total safety for all the participants, expressing the hope that President Sakellaropoulou will be present at the opening ceremony on July 23.
