Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — The general secretary of Commerce and Consumer Protection, Panagiotis Stampoulidis, in an interview with Skai 100.3 radio station on Sunday said that the mini markets and grocery stores in Athens and Thessaloniki will be closed today after 17.00 as well as on February 13 and 14.
Pharmacies, gas stations and kiosks can stay open.
Stampoulidis also noted that "it was not our suggestion to suspend the open markets on Saturday" adding that the issue will be reconsidered in the coming days.
