Greek-American Songstress Angelina Alexon Takes over Times Square with Massive Billboard

NEW YORK – Multi-talented – a singer and a songwriter – and a social media sensation, Greek-American Angelina Alexon recently celebrated the release of her highly anticipated pop single ‘Private Paradise’ in New York’s Times Square. Fans were invited to swing by 48th Street and 7th Avenue where she spent the most of the day taking pictures with fans and filming fun TikTok videos in front of her giant billboard.

The video release party was at Somewhere Nowhere NYC in Manhattan on July 7 and this is the official music video:

Alexon has been one of the few artists in the world kicking it even through the pandemic with regular live shows on the Las Vegas strip, viral content, and constant work on her original material.

Private Paradise was recorded in LA where she worked with Multi-Grammy winning producer Robert Cutarella who says "this record is a sure smash hit!” He added that “Angelina has a gift for interpreting songs and reaching the heart line of the listener. She is powerful, emotive, playful, and direct! She is a pleasure to work with and is bound to turn heads when you hear her for the first time.”

Alexon is a multi-lingual artist (she sings in eight languages) and came to the attention of most media outlets in late 2017 with her amazing voice impressions video ‘One Girl 15 voices’ which went viral with over 30 Million views among all social media. She used her talent and vocal technique in that video to do impressions of Ariana Grande, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, and more, and she was featured in several major publications since then.

Another video which she co-created and co-starred in along with social media star Markian that went viral in 2019 is called ‘What it’s like to have a Greek friend’ with over 25 Million views on social media. This video showcases her acting, comedic skills – as well as her Greek temperament.

The pandemic and cancellations of her summer 2020 U.S. and European tour didn’t stop her from working hard on new projects such as releasing a new video ‘1 song in 5 languages’  and also supporting organizations such as Global Citizen whom she partnered with for her own #TogetherAtHome virtual concert on her FB fan page.

In the ‘1 song in 5 languages’ project she sings her latest single ‘All We Need’ in 5 languages, switching languages for each verse, in an amazing and unique three minute video that reached close to 2 million views on Facebook and has a perfect message for what the world is going through today during COVID.

‘All We Need’ and the five language video version of the song were solely written by Angelina Alexon, and produced by Steven Waves Simpson. She performs the single at her regular shows on the Las Vegas strip as well as at other events such as for the AFWerxFusion2020 live stream event of the U.S. Air Force at the MGM Grand Theatre.

A follow up that’s still in the works is a song Angelina wrote in three languages called ‘Lucky Gem.’ She will be releasing this new upcoming single in English, Spanish, and Greek.

Alexon’s five octave vocal range, as well as her vocal tone and power has been compared to two of her biggest inspirations, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. In addition to being a gifted singer, vocal impressionist, and songwriter she is an astonishing performer. She has performed in various music festivals in the United States and at other prestigious venues in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and elsewhere throughout the United States and Europe. Many who have seen her perform, including members of Congress, who saw her at the U.S. Capitol, say that the combination of her amazing voice and dancing makes her a captivating live performer.
