MORIA, Lesbos – A fire in the Moria Reception and Identification Center on Lesvos island burned down three tents on Friday, while no injuries were reported.

The fire is believed to have been caused by a short-circuit and is the third in a month starting with March 16, when a seven-year-old girl died.

Also on Friday, a large number of asylum applicants staged a protest by the entrance to the Moria center, calling for the arrest of an Afghan man, 20, who stabbed and killed a fellow-Afghani, 16, on Wednesday outside the Moria center.

The alleged perpetrator has been identified and the police is looking for him.
