Greek diners are traditionally thought of being in inner cities like New York, Boston and Chicago but you can find them most anywhere in the United States, and now Opa! – from Greece – is landing in Las Vegas and you can bet on it.

The franchise has been operating in Canada for 20 years and features a fast-casual menu of Mediterranean favorites, Eater Las Vegas noted in a story about the restaurant that is expected to be at the Fashion Show Mall and is coming in the late spring of 2019. This is its first venture into the United States and there is a possibility of more expansions.

Launched in 1998 and now operating 94 locations from British Columbia to Ontario, the restaurants range from mall counter-service spaces to walk-in storefronts. The size and exact location of the Strip outpost has yet to be revealed.
